After you're all logged in and connected to your colleagues you'll want to update your profile to reflect your interests and specialities. This guide will explain how to customize your personal information.

Personalize Your Profile

You should click on "settings" at the top of the page, and the first tab you're brought to is your profile tab. The first step is uploading a personal photo of yourself for your profile. Once you know what picture you'd like to use you simply select "choose file". If you have a Gravatar you can check mark the box to use the image on file with them instead, just make sure the email you registered for Present.ly with is the same as your Gravatar email.

Be sure your email and phone number are entered correctly for notifications and updating while on the go. The information you list here will be available to your followers in the people directory, so be sure to only include information you'd want the other people on your network to have.

Then you'll want to input information like the schools you've attended, the companies you have worked for, the projects you've been a part of, and other information you'd like everyone to know about you. Be sure to click "Save Information" when you're done so that your followers can see the changes you've made.
