If you don't see anyone on our suggested list you'd like to follow, don't worry. You can add your own co-workers and even send them invitations if you are an administrator of your account. This guide will walk you through the process.

Invite Your Colleagues

The most convenient way to invite people is to import your contacts book into your Present.ly account. This makes it easy to invite the people you'd like to start communicating with to the network, and it eliminates much of the work on your end. If you move your mouse over "people" one of the drop down options you can click on is "invite from address book". (you must be the admin)

Clicking there takes you to a launching point to import your contacts from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail/Windows Live, Outlook, and Plaxo. Once your contacts have loaded you can invite your friends to start collaborate with you on Present.ly.

If you'd just like to invite a few people that you know the email addresses of offhand you can click on the "Invite" tab at the top of the window and enter their emails to send a quick invite.

Once you have sent out your invitations your friends and co-workers have 10 days to click the link in the email. If they wait longer than 10 days they will receive a message about how the invitation has expired. In this case you simply need to re-send an invite to them. After they join your Present.ly network be sure to follow them so that you'll have access to all their updates.
